Citizen Dane - Adopted!

Farm Name: CD

Bay Gelding foaled March 18, 2008

by Sunday Break (JPN) out of Bella Girl, by Ball's Bluff

Height: 16 hands

Career Statistics: Starts:12, Wins: 1, Earnings: $17,210

Fee: $750

CD could be considered a world traveller before he was even born! His father was born in Japan, but raced mostly in Southern California. His mother was born in the hills of Virginia, and raced mostly in the Maryland/Delaware/Virginia circuit. CD was born in Maryland, but only raced once in his home state. He did most of his limited racing at New Jersey and Pennsylvania tracks.

When he showed a distinct disinterest in racing, his owner donated him to the program. His racing owner was also his breeder. He knew CD's gentle and willing spirit would go a long way to helping him with a career off the track. Since he came into the program, CD has not made a bad move. He stands quietly for clipping, blacksmith, vet work, and everything we've asked of him. In fact, sometimes we just leave his stall door open while we work in the barn so he can enjoy the atmosphere.

CD is an eager, willing learner who needs a loving, caring home. He will easily become someone's "forever" horse.

Best use: Citizen Dane would be suitable for any discipline.

Rider Level: Any
