Irish is an unbelievably versatile guy. He came into this world belonging to a race horse owner. So he started his career as a racing prospect. In spite of his small size, he competed bravely on the track. He showed speed in all his starts and pushed his way through horses to fight for the lead when necessary. His record of 1 win, 1 second, and 1 third does not really tell the story of how brave he was on the track.
A few racing aches led Irish's owner to retire him from the track and seek a second career for this happy-go-lucky boy. He was donated to our program and immediately made a mark on his foster parents. He is already walk, trot, canter in a ring. He has also been trail ridden - over bridges, water - no problem. Small logs - not an issue.
Irish does everything with a twinkle in his eye. It's almost as if he's ready to tell a joke! He's fun loving and eager to please. He gets along well with all other horses and is a true pleasure to work around. He is a perfect mount for a child or small adult. He is versatile and very athletic!
This is a really neat horse who belongs in a forever home.
