The first thing Burning Term's handlers noticed is how light she is on her feet. She simply glides across the ground. So she was nicknamed "Willow" to describe the way she moves. Like a willow in the breeze.
Willow is a young filly with tremendous upside. She comes from a strong Thoroughbred family - her mother being so tough and sound, she started 130 times at racetracks around the country. Her father, Defrere, has been the leading sire in NJ for years now - a tribute to his ability to pass on his athletic genes.
Willow is just coming into her own. She's going to end up being a filly of good substance - able to carry a tall rider with a long leg on a horse. Her sweet nature makes her easy to work around and train. She wants to please, and has a kind eye and disposition to match. Consider this filly a clean slate. She's ready to become whatever her forever owner wants her to be. The rewards will be tremendous!
This filly is currently located in North Carolina.
Best use: Burning Term would be suitable for any discipline.
