Sweet Ride is a horse who grew up with the best of everything. Some might say he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth - or feed tub. He was born on the highly-regarded Greenfield Farm deep in Kentucky blue grass. His dam, Facethefront, raised him lovingly until he was selected to be sales prepped for the Keeneland September yearling sale. His good looks captured everyone from the start. Even as a youngster, he had that "look." He had such a presence, he was placed early in the prestigious Book 2 of the sale. He was purchased by Colts Neck Stable - one of the premier racing stables in the country. There, he received the best of everything with great anticipation of a stellar racing career.

Sadly, that was not the end result. In spite of the best care, Sweetness suffered a series of minor setbacks. Nothing dreadful, but just enough to keep him from racing. He eventually made it to the races and had a three-race career. When he suffered a minor tendon strain in preparing for his four-year-old season, the decision was made to retire him to our program. He arrived in mid-July and after a brief rest will be ready for adoption. He is a lovely, well-mannered fella who loves his handlers and will be a wonderful addition to any stable.

Here he is sticking his tongue out at his stablemate.
